Hat knitting is one of the most fun things I know, and in this book I have collected 17 of
my hat designs. I love playing with techniques, colours and textures, and I use these in different ways in my hats.
I have also made several completely classic hats for the book in simple ribbing or texture, with
a little twist on the folded brim or the decreases. This is so that the breadth of the selection will have
something for every taste and occasion.

The hats are designed to sit well on the head and keep the ears warm, which knitted hats don't always do, but a double folded brim or a fully knitted lining gives the hats much greater practical value ;-)
